Michael Miller
President
and CEO
Michael Miller is President and CEO at RACOM Corporation (www.racom.net). RACOM operates one of the country's largest privately owned wireless voice and data communications networks serving the Public Safety/Law Enforcement market. Mike held roles of increasing responsibility at RACOM prior to his current position, having started as a vehicle installer and moving up the ranks into operational, financial and business development positions. Mike is the second generation member of the Miller family to lead the organization, succeeding his father and Company founder Gregg Miller as president in 2006. Mike is active in the land mobile radio industry, serving on the editorial advisory board for Mission Critical Communications magazine (www.mccmag.com/editor/advisors.cfm).
Mike is also the founder and past president of Dynamic Broadband (www.dybb.com), a broadband wireless Internet Service Provider.
Prior to joining RACOM, Mike spent five years with the General Electric Capital Corporation, headquartered in Stamford, CT, where his last position held was as an Audit Manager. He graduated with distinction from Iowa State University in 1990 where he majored in Finance.
Mike is very active in the community, having served as the Chair of MEDIC (Marshall Economic Development Impact Committee), President of the Community Y Board of Directors, member of the Iowa Valley Leadership Steering Committee, Marshalltown Development Foundation board member and served as Marshalltown's Second Ward City Councilperson from 2000 to 2004.
Mike is married to Jennifer, who is the Marshall County Attorney. Mike and Jennifer have two children; Emily (2000) and Owen (2003).
Terry Brennan
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Terry Brennan joined RACOM in June 2001
and is Vice President of Sales and Marketing. His responsibilities include RACOM's sales of existing solutions and the
development of new solutions that will better serve RACOM's customers.
Terry's background includes technical sales,
sales management and engineering. He graduated with distinction from
of the University of Cincinnati in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Terry completed the 18 month Technical Sales Training Program with GE Medical
Systems and subsequently sold CAT Scanners, MRIs, Cardiac Cath Labs
and other medical diagnostic imaging solutions to hospitals throughout
Alabama.
Upon moving to Iowa, he spent the next several years in sales and sales
management with the product development software provider PTC and eCommerce/eBusiness provider Ariba.
Terry
actively coaches youth baseball, basketball and football in the Iowa City area where
he and his wife Susan have three children, Ryan (1996), Molly (2000) and Lucie

Nick Loney
Vice President of Finance and CFO
Nick Loney joined RACOM in June 2000
and is the Chief Financial Officer. A 1997 graduate of the University of Iowa, he was a member of the accounting and business honor societies. Since graduation, he has worked as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche in Minneapolis , serving as a senior audit manager.
As Director of Finance, Nick is responsible for preparing and analyzing RACOM's financial statements, developing and maintaining the budgeting process and ongoing budgets and managing all G/L accounting activities, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory.
Nick is a
Chamber Ambassador in Marshalltown, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Minnesota Society of CPAs, and the Iowa Society of CPAs.

Sheryl Readout Vice President, Human Resources and Administration
Sheryl joined RACOM in 1981. Her management skills have aided the company's transition from three employees in 1981 to over sixty employees today. Her responsibilities include human resources, benefits administration, facilities management and public relations. Prior to joining RACOM, Sheryl was with Fisher Controls where she was Executive Secretary to the President.
Sheryl's leadership in the community enhances the company's presence in Marshalltown. She is a former board member of the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce, serving as Vice Chair for Membership Services. She
was the arrangements chair for the annual MEDIC Economic Summits to Washington, D.C. for five years. Sheryl is a former member of the Marshalltown Civil Service Commission, the Marshall County Compensation Board,
the House of Compassion Board, and the board of Trustees of Marshalltown
Medical and Surgical Center. In 2000 she chaired George W. Bush's
Presidential campaign in Marshall County, and she currently serves as the
Finance Chair for the Marshall County Republicans and the Treasurer of the
Board of Marshalltown Federation of Women's Club and is a vestry member and lay

Mary Wertzberger
Controller
Mary joined RACOM in March of 1997. She gained experience working as the Assistant Controller at Mesquaki Casino and as a Pension Administrator at Principal Financial Group.
As the Financial Operations Manager at RACOM, Mary is responsible for all functions related to cash coming into RACOM. She coordinates the sales order process, recurring services, repair billings, and accounts receivable, as well as supervision of the shop administrators in ten RACOM locations.
Mary earned a degree in 1991 from ISU in Business Administration with emphasis in Management Operations. She is also a graduate of Iowa Valley Leadership, class of 1999, and a Marshalltown Police Department Citizen Academy Graduate, class of 1999.
Mary is a sustaining member of the Assistance League of Marshalltown and a
former Board member. She is a member and past President of T.T.T Chapter FR of Marshalltown and is President for the year 2000-2001. In 1999, Mary was the Co-Director of the Marshalltown Paint-A-Thon and is on the Community Resource Assessment Work Group committee.
She currently serves on the YMCA Board as well as the Community Y Board.
She is 2005 co-Chair of the Partnership with Youth Campaign.

Debi Estabrook Manager, Network Control Center
Debi joined RACOM in January, 1985 as a data entry clerk. Since that time she has held positions in accounts payable, customer invoicing, GMV network coordination, accounting and logistics. As the manager of the Network Control Center, Debi and a team of NCC operators monitor the RACOM EDACS Network 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Debi also coordinated the annual RACOM Invitational Pistol Competition for law enforcement held at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa .
Debi is a graduate of Iowa Valley Leadership 1994 and Dale Carnegie in 1993. Debi maintains an active role as a volunteer in our community. She is
former Vice Chair of the Marshalltown Convention and Visitor Bureau, a
former volunteer for Iowa River Hospice, past president of Oktemberfest,
Chamber Ambassador and Assistant Moderator of the Board of Deacons of First
Congregational Church. Debi also chaired the "Vision III" committee which raised $55,000 to purchase two infrared cameras for the local fire department.

Dave Smith Director of Engineering
Dave joined RACOM in October, 1984 as the Technical Operations Manager. As Director of Engineering, Dave is responsible for engineering the RACOM communications systems to meet special requirements, interface radio equipment to data communications equipment and provide technical assistance to the sales and service departments.
Dave began his career in the United States Navy, advancing from Seaman Apprentice to Electronics Technician 1 st Class. He received awards for Good Conduct, National Defense Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal with Bronze Star and Republic of Viet Nam Campaign Medal with device. Following the Navy, Dave joined Midwestern Electronics in Des Moines as Chief Technician. He holds several communications and electronics certifications including NABER, FCC Radio Telephone 1 st Class, Amateur Radio Operator's License, EDACS System Maintenance, Digital Dispatch and Mobile Data, and Communications System Director. email: dave.smith@racom.net
Gregg Miller
(1942-2006)
Founder
Gregg Miller founded RACOM in 1972 as the culmination of his lifelong interest in radio. He has designed a number of innovative communication systems. In 1993, Miller acquired Enhanced Specialized Mobile Radio (ESMR) licensing and in 1994 began construction of a network that extends across Iowa, Western Nebraska and South Dakota and into Wisconsin and Illinois. The network enables wide area voice and data communications to and between public safety and governmental agencies and commercial enterprises.
Miller studied physics from 1960 to 1963 at Iowa State University. He is a past chair of the Iowa State University Engineering College Industrial Advisory Council. He is a past chair of the MWCA Council of the PCIA and a
past member of the Board of Trustees of the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.
Most recently he was on the Board of Trustees for Buena Vista University and
was a member of the Radio Club of America, a Ham Radio Operator (KOLVB) and a helicopter pilot.
